THERE ARE DIFFERENT LESSON STRUCTURES NAMELY:

    1) Monthly and quarterly lessons – Billed monthly or quarterly in advance

The rates for 30 minute lessons are R800 per month or R2200 per quarter, for one lesson per week.

As for beginners or riders younger than 6 years, we offer 15 minute lead rein lessons from 9H00 during mornings up to 2:30 pm in the afternoon. These lessons are priced at R500 per month or R1400 per quarter. (One lesson per week).

More experienced riders from the age of 8 to adult can also be grouped according to their skill level and age. There are never more than four riders per group and the lesson is 45 minutes long. Group lessons are R650 per month or R1700 per quarter, offered as one lesson per week.

    2) Once off lessons and out-rides – To be paid in advance (electronically or cash)

We also offer 30 minute once off individual trial lessons, for potential new riders, 6 years and older for R200 per lesson.

Camelot also offers once-off individual lessons for the more advanced riders at R250 per lesson.

Camelot also caters for out-rides at R300 per person for an hour. This will be in the form of a trail through the vineyards and the rider(s) will be accompanied by a Camelot instructor.

    3) General

We always try to accommodate our riders according to their available times.

What to wear: A pair of long pants and a shoe with a heel (school shoe or something similar). A riding hard-hat is also compulsory and can be borrowed from the school for the lesson.

On termination of riding contract, we ask for a one calendar month written notice.

Rider’s weight: Due to possible strain on our horse’s backs from heavier riders, we have to make the cut off weight for a beginner rider at 85 kg.
